Beetlejuice – Filming Locations

All of the outdoor scenes in Beetlejuice (1988) were shot in the village of East Corinth, Vermont, which played the town of Winter River, Connecticut.

Miss Shannon’s School for Girls (East Corinth Masonic Lodge)

This old schoolhouse turned Masonic lodge played the school Lydia attends. You see it in the closing scene when she rides off on her bike.

East Corinth General Store (Maitland Hardware)

Address: East Corinth village center, near the Waits River, East Corinth, VT 05040

The old general store was used for the outside of Adam Maitland’s hardware store.
