Christmas At The Kringles Trailer Drops

The teaser for Christmas at the Kringles has landed, and it’s exactly as unhinged as it sounds. Bloody Disgusting reports the horror-comedy hits theaters October 30.

The film follows the Severson family after they move in next door to the Kringles, a family that celebrates Christmas year-round. When the Seversons’ son grows increasingly attached to the unusual neighbors, the parents start to suspect the Kringles are running a scheme to hypnotize and indoctrinate anyone who gets close, chainsaw included.

Ron Livingston and Rachel Bilson lead the cast, alongside Rob Riggle, Arden Myrin, Beverly D’Angelo, David Wain, Thomas Lennon, and Donald Faison. Kevin Lewis directs from a script by Zack Imbrogno.

Landing in theaters five days before Halloween rather than during the holiday season itself, Christmas at the Kringles is clearly playing to the “wrong holiday, right time of year” crowd. Given the cast list, expect plenty of comedy mixed in with the horror.
