Shredder (2001), a snowboarding slasher, was shot over 17 days in Idaho’s Silver Valley, mostly at Silver Mountain Resort near Kellogg.

The resort played the abandoned ski area where the snowboarders are hunted. The slope scenes were filmed here, and an old lodge was used for the inside scenes.
An open ski resort. It hosted the film’s 25th anniversary screening in April 2026.
