Where The Crazies was filmed in Georgia: Peach County High School and the Macon car wash.
The Crazies started filming in March 2009 in middle Georgia, around Perry, Macon, Fort Valley, Dublin and Cordele.
Peach County High School

The army holding camp, with its fenced cages, tents and soldiers in hazmat suits, was set up on the school’s ballfield and the field next to it.

The Car Wash

The car wash attack scene was shot inside this car wash, which shut down for eight days for the shoot.
Remodeled in 2023 and closed in 2025.
