New Poster Teases Carrie’s Powers
Prime Video's Carrie series poster showcases her telekinesis. Premiering October 7, it stars Summer H. Howell and is directed by Mike Flanagan.
Prime Video has released a new poster for Mike Flanagan’s Carrie series, and this one finally shows off her telekinesis. Earlier marketing focused on other parts of the story, so this is the first image built entirely around Carrie using her powers.
The eight-episode series stars Summer H. Howell as Carrie and premieres October 7 on Prime Video. Flanagan directs four of the episodes, with Kate Siegel, Axelle Carolyn, Kyra Sedgwick and Hiromi Kamata handling the rest. The cast also includes Samantha Sloyan, Matthew Lillard and Amber Midthunder.
This version keeps Carrie isolated at home before her father’s death forces her into public high school, where she becomes the target of bullying that goes viral. Stephen King, who wrote the original novel and executive produces the series, has already praised the adaptation.
