AHS Season 13 Trailer Reunites the Ghouls

FX released the first full trailer for American Horror Story’s 13th season, and Ryan Murphy is calling it the show’s own Avengers: Endgame. Instead of a new story, the season pulls together characters and villains from across the franchise’s history to fight something called “The Ultimate Evil.”

Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd and Jessica Lange are all back, with Lange playing multiple past characters. Evan Peters reportedly has a scene where he plays both Tate and Kai talking to each other. Joey Pollari joins as a new character anchoring the crossover story.

Murphy told Bleeding Cool he didn’t want to just do another Coven reboot, and instead focused on bringing back the biggest villains from the show’s run. He’s also confirmed Season 14 is already in the works, and said Ariana Grande could join a future season after scheduling kept her out of this one. We’re hyped for 13, but not sure we need one more after this. Murphy, let it rest my guy.

The season premieres September 24 on FX and Hulu, with three episodes airing on premiere night and again in week two, then two episodes a week through October 29.
