Friday the 13th (1980) was shot in Warren County in northwest New Jersey, at a Boy Scout camp in Hardwick and in the town of Blairstown.
Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco (Camp Crystal Lake)
Address: Sand Pond Rd, Hardwick, NJ
This working Scout camp stood in for Camp Crystal Lake. The cabins, the lake and most of the camp scenes were filmed here over about a month in the fall of 1979.
Private property, closed to visitors except on official Crystal Lake Tours dates.
Blairstown Diner
Address: 53 NJ-94, Blairstown, NJ
Annie, the camp cook, stops here to ask for directions near the start of the film.
Still open as a diner.
Roy’s Hall
Address: 30 Main St, Blairstown, NJ
This old movie theater can be seen behind Annie as she walks through Blairstown just after the opening credits.
Still used as a venue. You can see the outside from Main Street.
