It Follows Sequel Adds James Jordan

James Jordan has joined the cast of They Follow, David Robert Mitchell’s long-awaited sequel to It Follows. Jordan, known for his role in Landman, is set for a role in the film.

Maika Monroe returns as Jay Height from the original. She’s joined by Naomi Ackie, Jackie Earle Haley, Justine Lupe, Michael Gandolfini, Melora Walters, and now Jordan. The story picks up a decade after the first film.

Mitchell directs again, and Neon holds worldwide rights, including U.S. theatrical distribution.

It Follows became a modern horror staple in 2014 for its slow-building dread and simple, terrifying premise. A decade-later sequel with this much of the original creative team involved is one of the more anticipated horror follow-ups in years.
