Phantasm (1979) – Filming Locations
Where Phantasm was filmed in California: the Dunsmuir House in Oakland, the Altadena cemetery gates and Julian's main street.
Don Coscarelli made Phantasm over about a year, from late 1977 to late 1978, mostly around the San Fernando Valley. The Morningside Mortuary was the Dunsmuir House in Oakland, and the mausoleum halls were built in a warehouse.
