Renny Harlin shot Prison in 1987 inside the empty Wyoming State Penitentiary in Rawlins.

Nearly the whole film was shot here, including the cell blocks and the prison’s real gas chamber. The crew cut a gate into the outer wall for the film.

Now a museum. Open by guided tour, with haunted tours around Halloween.
