In Dreams (1999) – Filming Locations

Most of In Dreams was shot in Massachusetts, but one of its creepiest sequences was filmed at a historic New Hampshire hotel.

Wentworth by the Sea

Address: 588 Wentworth Rd, New Castle, NH 03854

The hotel was empty and falling apart at the time. It appears in the sequence where Annette Bening’s character wanders the decaying hotel and finds her dog with her husband’s body.

Restored and reopened in 2003. Open as a resort hotel.
