Where Scream was filmed in California: Woodsboro High at the Sonoma Community Center and the Healdsburg town square.
Wes Craven shot Scream around Sonoma County, in Sonoma, Healdsburg, Santa Rosa and Tomales.
Woodsboro High (Sonoma Community Center)

The school scenes were shot here over three days, on the front steps, in the upstairs hallway and in a classroom. The local high school had turned the production down.
An open community arts center. The hallway now has a Woodsboro Panther mural.
Woodsboro Town Square (Healdsburg Plaza)
Address: Healdsburg Ave and Matheson St, Healdsburg, CA 95448
The plaza and the shops around it played downtown Woodsboro.
A public town square. The gazebo from the film was replaced in 2007.
