Make It Weird Wednesday: Flanagan’s Exorcist, Hammer’s Ghosts and the Clown Panic

Mike Flanagan’s The Exorcist: Martyrs dropped its first trailer, so Davey digs into the movie that inspired it, The Exorcist III, a slow, creepy detective story that the studio forced an exorcism into. Then it’s Hammer Films buying up Susan Hill’s ghost stories, Ti West’s horror film for the Apple Vision Pro, and William Castle’s flying skeletons and buzzing theater seats.

Plus Other Mommy’s big but bumpy opening weekend, the new Lake Mungo documentary on Shudder, a sad week of Scream news, the great creepy clown panic of 2016, and three picks for this weekend: Whalefall, Hallowarrior and Crawlers.

Grab a drink and get comfy. New episodes every Wednesday.
