Make It Weird Wednesday: Carrie at 50, Romero’s Last Zombies and the Return of Sam

Fifty years after Sissy Spacek’s prom night, Mike Flanagan’s Carrie series lands on Prime Video. Davey digs into the real girls who inspired Stephen King’s first novel, the pages Tabitha King pulled out of the trash, and why so many horror fans who were bullied as kids still feel like Carrie belongs to them.

Then it’s George Romero’s final zombie movie finally getting made, the woman behind Friday the 13th’s real first killer, Trick ‘r Treat’s Sam turning 30, and the weirdest headlines of the week, from killer sheep to a man stuck in a toilet.

Grab a drink and get comfy. New episodes every Wednesday.
