Killer Sheep Sequel Black Sheeps Premieres At Sitges

Killer Sheep Sequel Black Sheeps Premieres At Sitges

Twenty years after Black Sheep terrorized a New Zealand farm, the sequel is here. Dread Central has new images from Black Sheeps, which is set to world premiere at the Sitges Film Festival this October.

Director Jonathan King returns to New Zealand for another round of genetically modified animal horror, with Nathan Meister back alongside several members of the original production team.

The story picks up with a young scientist tracking a dangerous new pathogen back to her hometown, near the same sheep station where the first film’s outbreak started. The filmmakers are calling it “a gory and hilarious ride,” and the new stills lean hard into both halves of that promise.

No wide release date yet — for now, Sitges gets first look.
