Chloë Grace Moretz Stars In Found Alive
Chloë Grace Moretz has a new psychological thriller on the way, and the first look just dropped. Bloody Disgusting reports that Found Alive will open the Sitges Film Festival on October 8.
The film is the English-language debut of Carlota Pereda, who directed Piggy. Moretz plays Reeve LeClaire, a woman who escaped a serial killer a decade ago and now mentors a newly rescued survivor. Her involvement with the survivor pulls her into a search for other missing victims.
Rupert Friend, Keith Jardine, Thomas Cocquerel, and Scott Haze round out the cast. The script comes from Matt Venne, based on Carla Norton’s 2013 novel The Edge of Normal, with revisions by Lori Evans Taylor and Pereda.
Sitges is one of the genre’s most prominent festivals, and an opening-night slot is a strong signal of how the festival views the film. No wide release date has been set yet, so the Sitges premiere will be the first chance for audiences to see it.
