Crystal Lake vs. the Horror Bros, Clayface and Jennifer’s Body 2

Peacock’s Friday the 13th prequel Crystal Lake has some fans calling it nonsense, so Davey takes a fond look back at a franchise where Jason went to hell, went to space in Jason X, and fought Freddy Krueger. Then it’s Clayface and the old Jewish legend of the golem, how Jennifer’s Body went from 2009 box office flop to cult classic ahead of its sequel, and why haunted house attractions keep showing up in horror movies, from The Funhouse to A24’s Slayground. Plus a tribute to Richard Riehle, Whalefall’s box office, John Carpenter’s Luminary Award, and this weekend’s horror picks.
