The Invasion was shot mostly in Baltimore in the fall of 2005, under the working title The Visiting. The crew spent part of October 2005 filming in Washington, DC.
Cleveland Park Metro Station

Foggy Bottom-GWU Metro and the I Street Mall

Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig were filmed on the I Street walkway by the station, walking into a hospital.
Open to the public. The walkway runs through the George Washington University campus.
