Yaga Trailer Brings Witchy Mystery

AMC+ has released the trailer for Yaga, a new mystery thriller built around the Baba Yaga myth. The eight-episode series follows a private investigator who arrives in a coastal town to look into a missing heir, and finds a town full of secrets and old magic instead.

Noah Reid stars as the investigator, with Carrie-Anne Moss playing an unsettling professor and Clark Backo as a local detective. Hudson Williams plays the missing heir. Vital Thrills reports that the ensemble also includes Sheila McCarthy and Katharine Isabelle. The series is based on a play by Kat Sandler, who wrote it and serves as showrunner.

Yaga premieres with two episodes on October 23, with new episodes airing weekly on Fridays through a two-episode finale on November 27. It’s exclusive to AMC+.
