A24’s Slayground Teaser Drops

A24 has released the first teaser for Slayground, director Jeremy Saulnier’s new thriller, after debuting the footage as a surprise ahead of Resident Evil screenings last week.

The teaser plays like security camera footage from a haunted attraction, set to screaming voices and a Drowning Pool track, before revealing the title. HorrorFuel reports that it also points people to a viral site, RunLikeHell.com, which shows fake CCTV feeds and starts a countdown timer once you sign up with your email.

The film follows a fugitive, played by Cory Michael Smith, who’s accused of mass murder and flees into a sprawling haunted maze while a multi-agency manhunt closes in around him. The cast also includes Imogen Poots, James Badge Dale, Matty Matheson, Chase Sui Wonders, Sophie Wilde, Young Mazino, and Stephen Root.

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are composing the score. A24 hasn’t announced a release date yet, but the studio has confirmed the promotional campaign is ongoing.
