Clive Barker Praises Hellraiser Game
Clive Barker says he’s thrilled with how Hellraiser: Revival, the upcoming video game, turned out. In an exclusive interview with Dread Central, Barker said, “I’m proud as fuck at the end result,” adding that “the quality and defiance of the game is extraordinary.”
Barker admitted he worried the game might get watered down. “I was fearful at one point that the game would be overly censored,” he said, but found that developer Boss Team Games kept its transgressive edge intact.
He also praised Doug Bradley’s return as Pinhead, calling the performance restrained and unsettling, and said he’s hoping to work with the team again on future projects.
Barker said he thinks the game “will be a knockout” for fans of both Hellraiser and horror games generally.
